Malik Elishin Iddrisu[1] (born December 18, 1999 in Columbus Ohio), better known as G Hollywood, (formerly known as Hollywood Leek) is a Ghanaian rapper, singer, and songwriter. He is best known for his May 2020 eponymous single "Freak", which was officially released by United Masters.[2]
Personal life
Raised in Bronx, NY by way of Columbus, Ohio, G Hollywood’s experiences and influences extend across the spectrum. From carrying film equipment for shoots on music videos to managing the White Horses Entertainment, LLC street-team. G Hollywood has been drawn to music for years. It was the energy and diversity he found in New York that fueled his passion for making uptempo hip-hop music that seems synchronous with New York City. As G Hollywood’s tastes for eclectic music progressed so did the development of his own unique style.
In an interview conducted by DJ Epps[3] a verified Disc Jockey on Instagram LIVE on June 23, 2020, G Hollywood stated his stage name was inspired from a time in High School where peers observed that he didn't talk a lot. He stated they would say, "oh, you're too 'Hollywood' to speak to anyone".[3]
Musical career
G Hollywood is a 19 year old youth from the Bronx, NY with a single entitled "Freak"[4] that was released on May 29th 2020 on Apple Music, Tidal, SoundCloud, and Spotify. G Hollywood's debut Single and debut project, Freak was also distributed/promoted via DJ Epps and his team at MP3waxx.com.[5] A music video for FREAK was also released to G Hollywoods Official Artist Channel on YouTube, and received over 14,000 views since it was published.[6]

G Hollywood is noted for his unique lingo and catchy hooks, which he employed on his breakout single, "Freak".
Early Life
Iddrisu was born to a Ghanaian mother and Ghanaian father.[7] He was raised in Ghana although he was born in the United States of America. His father still resides in Ghana and his mother and siblings visit Ghana regularly. Iddrisu both celebrates and loves his Ghanaian roots proudly.
