G M Mostafizul Alam (Bengali: জি এম মোস্তাফিজুল আলম; born 01 August 1982) is a Bangladeshi journalist.[1][2] Mostafizul Alam won multiple awards for investigative journalism.[3][4]
Career[edit]
G M Mostafizul Alam began his journalism career in 2009 at News and Images and later joined Radio Today and ATN News. He has produced numerous investigative reports on climate change and environmental issues, covering major climatic events in Bangladesh. He has received accolades for his work on corruption within the water development board.[5] Mostafizul Alam has also participated in international events, including the UN Climate Change Conference and the Global Climate Action Summit. He has extensively covered the Rohingya refugee crisis and closely monitored the election commission's activities.[6]
Controversy[edit]
Mostafizul Alam was assaulted due to his investigative reports on corruption and irregularities of the Election Commission.[7]
