Sheikh Surfuddin Reza Ali Chowdhury is a Bangladeshi Media Personality, Journalist and Writer.[1] Since 2017, he has been Country Coordinator for Bangladesh with the worldwide television-based flagship quiz show of Nepal 'Quiz Mania', broadcast on the television channels in Nepal.[2][3][4][5] He is known to writing the opinion piece at newspapers. He also takes a special interest in children's welfare.[6]
Childhood[edit]
Chowdhury was born and raised in Banshkhali Upazila, Chittagong, and moved to Dhaka in 2010. As he was a science enthusiastic from his school life, he started working and participating in science events. Later, he was introduced to rocket science activities by F. R. Sarker, the eminent Astronomer in Bangladesh.[7] He had completed the course of Korea Aerospace Research Institute, the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning & the Ministry of Education (South Korea) presents the 2016 International Space Camp' in South Korea, as well as participated at JAXA & National Institute of Aeronautics and Space presents 22nd Asia-Pacific Regional Space Agency Forum Water Rocket Event - 2015 in Indonesia.[8][9][10][11][12]

In 2015, Chowdhury started out her career as a Teenage Journalist at the first bilingual 24/7 news provider in Bangladesh 'bdnews24.com'. He had contributed to both Hello & Prism Platforms - hello.bdnews24.com & prism.bdnews24.com, the kind collaboration between bdnews24.com and UNICEF, which are the world's first child written and visual journalism platform in the Bengali Language. For directing the short film 'Life without Dreams', based on children of Bangladesh who grow up without any dream, he came to the youthful converse. The story of the film is about the reality a child faces in her daily life.[13] He worked with Borderless Healthcare Group, Singapore & Borderless Clinic to provide free telemedicine service for the Bangladeshi migrant workers in Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, and beyond.[14][15] Since 2017, he kept an important role in making successful the worldwide television-based flagship quiz show of Nepal, Quiz Mania from Bangladesh with the close support of Ministry of Education (Bangladesh), Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Bangladesh), Ministry of Home Affairs (Bangladesh) & Embassy of Nepal in Bangladesh.[16][17][18][19] The episodes of the flagship show broadcasts on the television channels of Nepal. He had also a meeting with the Honorable President of Nepal 'Her Excellency Bidhya Devi Bhandari' about the show at Rastrapati Bhawan, Kathmandu.

Chowdhury had been awarded UNICEF Meena Media Award (2016) for his outstanding creative contribution to promoting Child Rights in print, online and online print media in Bangladesh from the Honorable Minister Hasanul Haq Inu, Ministry of Information (Bangladesh).[20][21][22][circular reference]
