Ganasanghati Andolan (Bengali:গণসংহতি আন্দোলন), literally meaning Mass Solidarity Movement is a Bangladeshi political party. On 29 August 2002 this party was formed with the call for the people to build their own political power.[1] The party is affiliated with Bangladeshi leftist alliance Left Democratic Front. The party has close relation with other leftist parties.
History[edit]
On the 29th August 2002 few political organization (i.e. Bangladesh Student Fedaration, Bangladesh Versatile Labor and Hawker Association, Women Solidarity, Bangladesh Garments Labor Solidarity, Protibesh Andolan and Bangladesh Farmers-Labor Solidarity) came to form a common national polittical platform. 14 years after the formation on the 27th, 28th and 29th November 2016 the third national conference of the party was held.[2]
Election Participation[edit]
In the Dhaka North City Corporation election Zonayed Saki contested as a mayoral candidate on behalf of the party. He lost the election.[3] Later he contested in the 11th National Election from Dhaka-12 constituency.[4][5]
