Garware Marine Industries
Garware Marine Industries Limited is a public limited company incorporated on 8 August 1975 as Modern Nets Limited. The name was subsequently changed to Garware Marine Industries Limited in 1981. The company is supposed to be the pioneer of nylon fishing nets in India and is listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange Limited. Garware Marine Industries Limited was promoted by Padma Bhushan Shri. B. D. Garware, founder of the Garware Group of Companies.
