Gautam R. Morarka (Born on 1st January, 1962) is a founder promoter[1] of Dwarikesh Sugar Industries Limited[2][3]. He is a Commerce Graduate and ICWA Inter and is a Sugar Industry Veteran with over two decades of sectoral experience.
Early Life[edit]
He was born to the prestigious family of Morarkas in Mumbai & is married to Indian social activist Smriti Morarka reviving handwoven cloth and improving mental health. His education took place in John Cannon School and Sydenham College of Commerce and Economics[4], Mumbai. He had also cleared the first year of I.C.W.A
Philanthropy[edit]
Gautam Morarka has been involved in initiating and supporting various non-governmental organisations such as R.R. Morarka Charitable Trust, Narbada Devi Morarka Charitable Trust, Sewa Jyoti[5] which work in the field of rural health, women empowerment, and education.
