Cosmos Richard Denanyoh (born August 1, 1992) popularly known by his stage name Geewan or simply Geezy, is a Ghanaian singer-songwriter, mix engineer and performer. He is a descendant of Volta region. He was born in Cape Coast, Central region, Ghana.
Early life and beginnings
Born Cosmos Richard Denanyoh is a descendant of Volta Region. He was born in Cape Coast. He grew up and schooled in Cape Coast. Geewan started singing at an early age. At the age of 8, Geewan joined his school choir where he sang alto, being the only male amongst the females.
Career
Geewan has been an independent artist. His first single titled "Greenlight" was released in 2014 for a Vodafone Ghana event promo. With featured vocals from Scratch, his best friend, "Greenlight" was positively accepted in the then University he was in. After this other massive hits followed: Shirley, Me Be Wah, OLE, Tonight and Koko.
