Controversy[edit]
The Masters Champions League was involved in controversy as five franchises did not pay their dues to the players and the league had undertaken to make those payments on behalf of the teams and failed to do so. The second edition of the league has yet to be announced. Gemini Arabians though was cleared of all the controversy as they had made the payment to all the players.[26][27][28]
