GfK NOP
GfK NOP (from GfK National Opinion Polls) is a market research agency based in London, England, providing business insight through quantitative and qualitative research.
History[edit]
GfK NOP was formed in 2005 when NOP World was acquired by the German research group GfK from United Business Media and merged with UK-based GfK Martin Hamblin. GfK's Mystery Shopping and Field Marketing department is based in their Oxford, England, office.
The company claims to have the first accurate UK video games chart, starting with one published in C+VG and the Daily Mirror in March 1984.[1]
Quality[edit]
GfK NOP operates a quality management system which conforms to the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001: 2000 Quality Assurance Standard and ISO 20252:2006 Market, opinion and social research (formerly BS 7911:2003 - Specification for Organisations Conducting Market Research).
GfK NOP is a member of the MRS Company Partner Service and the Interviewer Quality Control Scheme.
