Gifted Education International formerly Gifted International is a peer-reviewed academic journal of the field of gifted education, talent development and creativity. The journal was founded by Belle Wallace in 1982. It is published by SAGE Publications. From 2016 to 2020, the GEI published scholarly articles from 20 countries...[1]

GEI is recognized as one of the key journals in gifted education by the University of Central Florida[2] The ICDS visibility index of the GEI is 6.5 in published reports[3]. The ICDS (Secondary Composite Index Broadcasting) is an index developed by researchers at the University of Barcelona. It shows the visibility of journals in scientific databases.

GEI has partnered with PUBLONS to demonstrate the commitment to recognizing reviews and motivating reviewers and to provide reviewers with insights and analytics. By 2020, GEI reviewers submitted 169[4] reviews to Publons. Contents of the GEI is listed by JournalTOCs[5] School of Mathematical and Computer Sciences Heriot-Watt University. GEI scholarly articles are registered and linked by and available at Crossref since 1982. GEI citations are reported in Naver Academic[6]
