Early life

Gina was born in Democratic Republic of Congo. She moved to Uganda when she was young, where her parents had resettlement for refugees. They stayed in Kampala Uganda for about 8 years, during which time she went to kindergarten. In 2004, Gina and her family moved to the USA, started middle school, and graduated with a GPA of 4.0. She also went to high school, where she graduated with a 4.0 GPA, just as in middle school. Then she applied for Medical school and graduated as a Medical assistant.

Career

Gina is working under home care assistance. But during 2018, she found her passion in modeling, starting with simple photo shoots, where her pictures were trending as the first Congolese woman in the USA for taking photos in a bikini. She appeared in many music videos like Unanifaa by Destin and Rich da Chris, Congo by Mandi classic, and Salima by snazzy. In 2019, Miss Fashion Global reached out to her as a recruitment to become their contestant. Gina attended and competed but did not win or make it to the final. Furthermore, she also competed for Miss Houston USA, but the test for COVID19 put her aside, and so she did not have a chance to participate in the competition. But in the same year, she contested for Miss Global [1] again for the year 2021, and this time she made it to the final, where she became the second runner-up and took the crown home.
