Gismart is an international mobile gaming company headquartered in London, UK. The company focuses on developing and publishing casual and hyper casual games, and entertainment-focused apps.[1] Gismart is the sixth fastest growing company of 2020 year according to Financial Times.[2]

History[edit]

Gismart was founded in 2013 by Dmitri Lipnitsky and Alex Minets. The company initially specialized in music entertainment applications. Gismart’s top music apps include Beat Maker Go, Piano Crush, DJ It! WeDrum, Hello Piano, and Karaoke.[3][4]

The company has sealed deals with large music publishers, such as Universal Music Publishing Group and Sony/ATV Music Publishing as well as partnered with American DJs The Chainsmokers for Beat Maker Go.[5][6][7]

In 2019, Gismart began developing mobile games and publishing third-party games. The company launched a number of hyper-casual and idle games including Cool Goal, Domino Smash, Pregnancy Idle and Body Race.[8][9][10]

Gismart launched its first game, Color Galaxy on Snapchat’s Snap Games platform in early 2020.[11] In 2021 Gismart signed  a multi-game, cross-platform partnership with Snapchat and launched Crazy Run, the second game on the platform.[12][13][14][15][16][17][18]

During the Covid-19 pandemic, Gismart with 39 other game companies joined the WHO #PlayApartTogether coronavirus awareness campaign.[19]

The Gismart head office is located in London, UK. Other office locations include Kyiv (Ukraine), Beijing (China) and Minsk (Belarus).[20][21][22][23]

The Gismart team has over 300 employees.

Rankings[edit]

In summer 2019, the soccer game Cool Goal was ranked number one by downloads in 62 countries.[28]

In 2020, Gismart was recognized as the 6th fastest-growing company in Europe, according to the Financial Times.[29][30][31][32]

Gismart products received multiple awards. In 2021 Gismart won Webby People’s Voice Award for Facetory:Face Yoga & Exercise app as ‘Best Experimental & Innovation in Apps and Software.[33][34]
