Glena Avila (born April 23, 1975) is an American mixed martial artist. She currently trains in Portland, Oregon. She has a record of 4 wins and 2 losses.
Avila gained recognition after becoming the first women's champion in the history of the Full Contact Fighting Federation, an amateur mixed martial arts promotion in Portland, Oregon. After building a 6-0 amateur record and winning three titles in three weight divisions, Avila turned professional in June 2011.[1]

Mixed martial arts career[edit]
Avila faced Angelica Brotheron in her debut professional match at BlackEye Promotions 4 on June 27, 2011. She won by submission arm bar in the third round.[3] She faced Maria Andaverde at Budo Fights 6: Pretaliation on December 3, 2011.[4] Avila faced Emily Kagan at Dakota FC 13 on October 13, 2012. She lost by split decision.[5] She faced Amber Stautzenberger at Dakota FC 15 on April 20, 2013. She lost by unanimous decision.[6] She faced and won a split decision win over former 115 lbs champion, Katie Howard at FCFF: Rumble at the Roseland 77 on April 5th, 2014. She defeated Stevie Vanassche by TKO in the first round on August 22, 2014 at MMA Summer Showdown at Tulalip Resort Casino.
