Glenn Gers is an American writer and director. Born and raised in New York City and graduated with honors in English from Yale University in 1982.[1][2] Gers won a Fellowship Grant in Screenwriting from the New York Foundation For The Arts for his movie screenplay "Nightbirds".[1] He has written scripts for feature films and TV. His TV credits include single episodes of Cybill, The Jeff Foxworthy Show, and Becker as well as ten episodes of Instant Mom. In October 2019 he participated in Austin Film Festival & Conference roundtables on screenwriting for TV and Film.[2] Since April 2020 he's been sharing his experience as a screenwriter on his YouTube channel Writing for Screens.
