Glenn Lutz is an American author, poet and hip hop artist from Los Angeles, CA.[1]
Biography[edit]
Glenn Lutz was born in Upland, California and grew up in various neighborhoods within the Inland Empire. As a child, he developed an avid interest in the arts, and by the age of four was performing on the stage as an actor and vocalist. An interest in theater quickly turned into a career in television and film, and by the age of twelve, he had already worked with numerous Hollywood heavyweights including Steven Spielberg, Andy Griffith and Dick Van Dyke. [1] As a teenager, he continued to explore writing, painting, and music, and by eighteen had written several screenplays, recorded an album and won awards for his art. [2] In his teens, he began writing poetry and hip hop; creating writings and music with a focus on identity, race, spirituality, mental health, and human nature.
Lutz released his first book, Go F*ck, I Mean, Find Yourself. with Adams Media (an imprint of Simon & Schuster) in September of 2018, to positive reviews and a wave of feedback from readers around the world. The book stemmed from his personal battle with depression, and the book was created to serve as a tool to build the universe he wished to inhabit and to become the person he wanted to be.[3]
In addition to Go F*ck, I Mean, Find Yourself., Lutz also released his debut mixtape LOUD ZOO in September of 2018, and is currently working on his debut album.[4]
