Global Metal Apocalypse
Global Metal Apocalypse is a blog run by Rhys Stevenson with a globally inclusive focus on the heavy metal genre, its many variants, and its socio-political context. Inspired by the documentary Global Metal (2007), it was established on 25 October 2011. Based in Wickford, England, it operates under the aegis of Bandcamp,[1] and hosts the eponymous Global Metal Apocalypse (GMC) Awards.[2]
