History
Founded in 2001, the company operated under separate brands: Corporate FX, Personal FX, Smart FX, and Travel FX until 2012, when all individual brands were brought under the umbrella brand 'Global Reach Partners'. In 2016, Global Reach Partners was acquired by the private equity investment firm Inflexion. Global Reach Partners (GRP) announced that it acquired FC Exchange (FCE) with the backing of its private equity investor, Inflexion.
Global Reach Partners also encompasses a subsidiary company, 'Global Reach Markets Limited', which provides Foreign Exchange Options products.
Regulation
Global Reach Partners Limited (GRP) and Global Reach Markets Limited (GRM) are companies registered at Woolgate Exchange, 25 Basinghall Street, London, EC2V 5HA. GRP is authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (‘FCA’) and regulated by HMRC as an Authorised Payments Institution for the provision of payment services. GRM is authorised and regulated by the FCA.[1]
