Lumon is a UK-based financial services company. The company is an international payments and foreign exchange specialist providing services to individuals and corporate customers.

The company was founded in 2004 as Foreign Currency Direct and based in Buckinghamshire.[1][2][3] They opened their 40,000th customer account in February 2012 and were also named the best exchange rate provider by The Telegraph.[4] In 2016 they sponsored the Prog Rock Awards.[5] The company was acquired by Pollen Street Capital in May 2018.[6] This was followed by the acquisition of Infinity International in 2019 and in Earthport FX in 2020, expanding their corporate portfolio.[7][8]
The current company was created in 2021 when Foreign Currency Direct rebranded as Lumon. At the same time Infinity International FX and Earthport FX were also incorporated into the Lumon brand.[9][10][11][12] Lumon is regulated and authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority.[13]
