Mickey Bouwer (born July 25, 1999), known professionally as Godmode, is a Dutch rapper, singer, and songwriter. Born and raised in Utrecht, Netherlands, Mickey began his music career as a hobby in 2016 but decided to pursue it professionally in 2017 under the stage name Godmode.
Personal Life and Career[edit]
Mickey started producing music at the age of 16. His debut song, "Can't Fool Me Twice ft. Elroy", was uploaded to YouTube on February 20, 2017, but it was only available on YouTube. His first multi-platform release was "Drink Til' I'm Dead", which garnered over 6,000 streams and views across YouTube, Spotify, and Soundcloud.
Mickey was deeply influenced by the late rapper XXXTENTACION and created a tribute song for him after his tragic death in Deerfield Beach, Florida.
