The teaser trailer was published on August 1, 2011 on official YouTube channel. Later, first trailer was published on August 8, 2011. On November 4, 2014 film was released on official Rockstar Fan Films YouTube channel. Godzilla: Battle Royale was directed, produced, written and edited by Billy DuBose. Billy DuBose said, that it took 4 years to make the film. The film was dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the Godzilla franchise. At this time film has more than 2,3 million views.
