Gohari is a village in Kharmang District, Gilgit-Baltistan in Pakistan.[1] It is very close to Madhapur.
Bombus Latreille
The Bombus Latreille has been found in many parts of Gohari.[2]
Sanitation
The sanitation and water is better in Gohari then in other parts of the Baltistan region.[3] Many residents of Gohari have said that foreigners often complain and only come in the summer due to the water and sanitation.[clarification needed]
2020 Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly Elections
In Gohari, Soq, Urdi, Shadoq, and Manjar Goms, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf or PTI party is the most famous out of all of Kharmang district, during the 2020 Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly elections.[4]
Demography
All the members of the village are Baltis and because of high literacy provided by Agha Khan, the community knows Urdu and some English, as well as their native language Balti.
