Gokul Rajendran (born 1998) is an Ayurveda Medical Student, Android Developer & environmental activist from Trivandrum , India. He has been working for awareness about climate change and documentation, preservation, and promotion of the traditional knowledge and practices of indigenous communities around world.
Early Life[edit]
Gokul is from Trivandrum,Kerala & grew up in Parassala Village, the south most part of Kerala.
Career[edit]
Govardhan Ayurveda App which is Database of Medicinal Plants of India.[1] Currently being updated to Global Medicinal Plant Database. The 2nd is the Ashtanga Hridayam App, which contain the Sanskrit Slogas of Acharya Vagbhata & its Meaning.
He also the President of Goodwall Student Council. He single-handedly developed 3 Android apps for Traditional Medicine of Ayurveda.
He was at UN Climate Change Conference, COP26 from Kerala, India as Global Action Youth Delegate. Also, Represented India at COY16. He was part of the "Die in" staged by the Medical Students of International Federation of Medical Students' Associations, where He represented 'All Indian Medical Students' by holding the Youth Charter prepared by Dr. Poornima Prabhakaran, Public Health Foundation of India.
