Golam Rabby (Bengali: গোলাম রাব্বী; born 10 September 1989) is a Bangladeshi news presenter,[1] author,[2] and entrepreneur[3] who works for Somoy TV[4][5] and Bangladesh Bank.[6]
Early life[edit]
As a teenager, he participated in radio, newspaper and BTV programs from the village. Then joined the print media as a part-time feature writer in 2006 while studying in the International Relations Department of Dhaka University. In 2009, Daily Odhinayok started a direct relationship with the media as the DU campus representative. He also joined FM radio as RJ (radio jockey) at the same time.[7]
Controversy[edit]
On January 2016, Golam claimed he was tortured[8] and harassed[9] by the Mohammadpur Thana Police[10] for a false allegation.[11][12]
Works[edit]
Golam Rabby also an author, he published his books on Ekushey Book Fair. Yet, two books have been published.[13]
Rabby is an instructor of Somoyer School[19].[20] 'Somoyer School' is an e-learning platform launched by Somoy TV, where he offers a news presentation course.
He founded a social platform, Dream Deviser,[21] to develop users' career skills.[22]
