Goverlan VNC Viewer (GovVNCViewer) is an open source software module created and distributed by PJ Technologies, Inc. The Goverlan VNC Viewer module allows for the software implementation of an MFC-based VNC Viewer interface that can be used to connect to a VNC Server. The VNC stands for Virtual Network Computing, a graphical system that uses the Remote Frame Buffer protocol (RFB) to remotely access another computer’s screen and to control its keyboard and mouse. The Goverlan VNC Viewer module is consumed by the Goverlan Systems Management Software.
The GovVNCViewer software package is freely available under the terms of the GNU General Public License (GPL).

- Exposes the VNC Client Services via a single Client Windows Class named CVncClientWnd which derives from CWnd.
Interoperability and Compatibility
The Goverlan VNC Viewer module is based on the Windows MFC API and can only be compiled and used under the Windows platform. As it uses the RFB protocol, it can be used to connect to any other operating systems that supports the VNC Server such as Mac OS X and Linux.
