GreenPan is a Belgian cookware and small appliance brand owned by The Cookware Company, a global manufacturer.[1] Launched in 2007, the company is known for creating Thermolon ceramic nonstick the first nonstick coating created without PFAS.[2][3][4]
History[edit]
Launched on HSN in 2007,[5][6] GreenPan’s ceramic nonstick coating, called Thermolon,[7] was the first nonstick coating free of PFAS.[8]
To manufacture ceramic nonstick cookware, GreenPan uses the sol-gel process,[9] eliminating the need for chemicals like GenX, PFOA, or other PFAS that are used to turn PTFE into a nonstick coating.[10][11][12]
In Popular Media[edit]
GreenPan has been prominently used in multiple seasons of The Great British Bake Off. [13][14]
GreenPan has partnered with chefs like Bobby Flay[15] and Michelin star winner Michel Roux[16] on collections.
