Grizzly Jack's Grand Bear Resort
Grizzly Jack's Grand Bear Resort is a resort adjacent to Starved Rock State Park on Illinois Route 178 in Utica, Illinois. The resort includes hotel suites, cabins, and villas and an indoor waterpark and amusement park.[1] The resort opened in 2005.[citation needed]

Great Bear Falls is a 24,000-square-foot (2,200 m2) indoor waterpark,[2] and includes a wave pool, a kiddie pool, two water slides, a lazy river, a hot tub, and an interactive water play area.[3] Both slides empty into the Lazy River which is a fast-paced indoor river.[citation needed] The waterpark was closed after a fire on January 2, 2018 but re-opened on April 12, 2019.[4][5]
The Enchanted Forest was a mini theme park within the resort that included rides, arcade games, a ropes course, and laser tag. The laser tag has an alien invasion theme and is set in a 2,000 sq ft (190 m2) arena.[citation needed] The Enchanted Forest was no longer operating by 2019.[3]
The Cave Arcade is a video game arcade, adjacent to Great Bear Falls,[3] with a wide variety of activities including racing, shooting, sword-fighting, ticket-redemption games, capsule machines, and sport-related machines.[citation needed]
Bear Island is four-tier observation deck overlooking Curtis Canyon, an 80 foot seasonal waterfall.[3]
Food facilities include Jack's Place Restaurant & Bar, the Honey Pot Sweet Shop, and the Bear Island outdoor bar and grill.[6]
