Guillermo Íñiguez Martínez (Madrid, Spain, 1999) is a Spanish legal scholar, jurist and analyst. He is a researcher at the University of Oxford (Faculty of Law).
Life and career[edit]
Guillermo Íñiguez was born in Madrid in 1999. He studied the Bacherlor's degree in Law at the University of Cambridge (Peterhouse) and graduated with a first-class law degree (2017-2020). Later he studied a master of laws (LLM) in EU law at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) (2020-2021), with a full scholarship by the Fundación Ramón Areces of Spain. He has been a legal trainee at the EU General Court.
Currently he is a researcher and PhD student at the University of Oxford (Somerville College), where he is doing his PhD in EU law.[1]
He is also an analyst and contributor to some of Spain’s leading newspapers, such as El País, El Correo or El Español.[2][3][4][5][6][7]
In the year 2021, he was appointed General Secretary of the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE) in the United Kingdom and Ireland.[8]
