Early life and education

Gurinder Bhatti was born on 4 October 1982 in the small town of Jama Rai, near Amritsar, Punjab. He is the son of Mr. Joginder Singh Bhatti and Mrs. Kuldeep Kaur Bhatti. He, his younger brother Nav Bhatti, and younger sister Ekta Bhatti were raised in Amritsar, Punjab. His father owned a cable operator business in Amritsar, Punjab, where Gurinder started his first job, assisting with collections and sometimes installing cables to expand the business after school and during holidays. At age 18, he traveled to the United Kingdom to pursue higher education, fulfilling his parents' wishes, and working part-time to support himself.

Based on experiences with a roommate, he identified a significant opportunity in the study abroad consulting market. The complex application process, lack of awareness, and use of illegal methods to study abroad motivated him to start a business assisting study abroad aspirants. Despite parental opposition, his determination and self-starting nature drove his success in the industry.
