Gustav Adolf Huber (November 13, 1872 – November 1, 1946) was a German musician, educator and composer.

Gustav Adolf Huber was born the second child of a Magdeburg family of confectioners.[1] From 1888 to 1892 he studied music, first at the Grand Ducal Orchestra, Music and Opera School in Weimar, later at the Leipzig Conservatory, with the outstanding violinists Karl Halir and Adolf Brodsky. After he graduated, he took a position as second violinist in Sweden. From 1895 to 1905 he was the conductor of the Robert Schumann Choral Society in Magdeburg. In 1909 he represented Rudolf Fischer for a year and finally took over the management of the Magdeburg Orchestra from 1910 to 1920. Huber taught violin and piano playing at the conservatory as well as in private. Huber composed numerous works, mostly for music education, which are often played internationally.
