Habromania (stylized as: HABROMANIA) is an upcoming independent adventure side-scrolling RPG video game developed by Sydney Collings with Toska Studio.[1] Early access will be opened in 2025 with a demo and a full anticipated release is set for 2028 or 2029.[2]

Plot

Habromania takes place in Wonderland and stars a grown-up Alice.[3]

Development

The idea of Habromania was first conceived in 2022, as Collings drew surrealist styled Alice's Adventures in Wonderland RPG character designs while studying at the Southern Methodist University. She started posting them on her social media which gained the attention of Alexis Hoffman, who would join the project as the creative director.[4] The project was officially announced on September 11, 2023, and begun with the idea of a point-and-click genre.[3] The team eventually went from 8-13 volunteers with the crew working across: The United States, Canada, France and Australia.[4] The game plans to utilize a chapter system with 12 chapters planned.[5]

Collings has been teasing the project openly since January 2023 on her Youtube and Instagram accounts, of which both hold the most information about the game's creation and process. Collings sells merchandise on her website including art prints, pins, stickers.[6] In October 2024, Collings collaborated with Makeship stuffed animal to release a Cheshire Cat design, of which reached the pledge goal within 24 hours and over 800 were sold.[7] The steam page was launched on April 25, 2025 along with the first trailer for the demo.[8]

Based on our current development pace, we anticipate HABROMANIA will remain in Early Access for approximately three to four years - so leaving early access in 2028 or 2029. Our plan is to release about three chapters each year during early access, with a full version hopefully launching once all major story content is complete.
