Hani Rizk Abdu
Hani Rizk Abdu is an Egyptian writer who has been a preacher and philosopher of Christianity. He has authored and published more than 17 books. Abdu has given lectures on four YouTube channels: The Egyptian Messiah, St. Kyrillos World Academy, The True Christian Science Bible, and True Christology Universal Coptic Church (TCUCC) - Saint Mark.[1][2]
Personal life[edit]
Abdu was born in Cairo, Egypt on December 10, 1941.[3] He received his bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from Alexandria University, in 1962 followed by a master’s degree in forensic chemical analysis from Cairo, University in 1965. Additionally, he received a second bachelor’s degree in philosophy & psychology from Cairo University in 1967 followed by a master’s degree in experimental psychology from Cairo University in 1969. In 2003, Abdu earned his PhD degree in Psychology in the United States.[2] He married Afaf Abdu who is from Faiyum, Egypt, in 1968. He has three children. Abdu migrated to the United States of America in 1976 and settled with his wife and children in New York city, USA, in 1986.[citation needed]
Books[edit]
In his first book, The True Christian Science, published in the United States, Abdu attempts to disprove the long-held theory that science and religion don’t mix by providing a startlingly rational arguments for how science and religion come together.[4]
Abdu endeavors to present a comprehensive view of man's total development in his book, Christian Psychology, published in the United States. Underlying the work is a fundamental thesis: The human being is created in the likeness of God.[5]
