Hanna Asieieva (Ukrainian: Анна; Ukrainian pronunciation: [ˈɑnːɐ]; born July 07, 1987) is an internationally performing violinist, a chamber musician and since 2016 a member of Bavarian State Orchestra.[1] in Munich, Germany.Plays a 1834 Johannes Franciscus Pressenda violin provided by Landessammlung Streicheinstrumente Baden- Wurttenberg.

Born in Kiev in 1987 she began her musical education at the age of 7 in Lysenko Music School. Her first professor was Lyudmila Ovcharenko. Anna Asieieva continued her studies at Kiev Tchaikovsky National Music Academy in Ukraine which she graduated from with a distinguished diploma.

She polished her music skills attending various masterclasses during which famous violinistс such as: Shlomo Mintz, Ulf Hoelscher, Eduard Demenyuk, Silvia Markovici, Sashko Gavriloff, Maxim Vengerov, Josef Rissin, Olga Parkhomenko, and Alexander Chumachenko, helped her talent to flourish. She also improved her sense of style in chamber music with such world known musicians as Menahem Pressler, Jean-Guihen Queyras, Ferenc Rados, Victor Abramyan, Sylvie Altenburger, Alexander Banduryanski, Arvo Part, just to name few.

At present Anna Asieieva is a violinist at Bavarian State Orchestra. She gained her first experience in this area at Tchaikovsky’s Academy Chamber Orchestra where she was a soloist and a concertmaster.

As a solist she played with New Era Orchestra conducted by Tatiana Kalinichenko in National Philharmonic of Ukraine. Later she performed as a solo player with Baden-Baden Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Pavel Baleff. Also she was a solist playing with the „Amadeus” Chamber Orchestra of Polish Radio conducted by Agnieszka Duczmal. This concert was broadcast by Polish Television, TV Kultura, TVP.pl[2] and Polish Radio.

During her music career she has had the privilege to work with such world-known conductors as: Sir Simon Rattle, Andris Nelson, Kiril Petrenko, Michail Jurovski, Roger Norrington.

Ms. Asieieva’s concert engagement have included numerous solo and chamber music performances in Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Russia, Poland, Ukraine, Switzerland Portugal, Finland. As a soloist she has performed in prestigious concert venues including Auditorio Nacional de Música in Madrid[3], Palau de la Música in Barcelona, Cultural Centre of Belém in Lisbon, Palacio de Festivales de Cantabria in Santander, Collegium Minus in Poznan, Kurhaus of Baden-Baden in Germany, Auditorio Sony in Madrid, Wolfgang-Rihm Forum in Karlsruhe, Cuvilliés Theatre in Munich, Herkulessaal in Munich, National Concert Hall in Taipei, and others.

As a member of BSO, under the buton of Kiril Petrenko she had the pleasure of performing in Carnegie Hall, New York, Barbican Hall, London, Tokyo Bunka Kaikan, Suntory Hall in Tokyo, Philharmonie de Paris, Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg.

Anna Asieieva in the winner of numerous prizes in prestigious solo and chamber competitions, including the Second prize at the Shostakovich International Chamber Music Competition in Moscow, Russia, the First prize in M. Yudina International Duo Competition in St. Petersburg, Russia, the First prize in Keystut Bacewicz International Chamber Music Competition in Lodz, Poland, the First prize at 2nd International Chamber Music Competition in Madrid, Spain and the First prize at the Competition “Art of XXI Century” in Ukraine. She was a finalist of solo Violin Competition in Lichtenberg, the International Violin Competition in Kishinev, Moldova and the International Competition in Minsk, Belarus.

In 2016 she become a semifinalist of the 15th Wieniawski International Violin Competition in Poznan, Poland. In 2018 she won the Gold Medal with High Distinction in the 3rd Manhattan International Music Competition[4]

Ms Asieieva’s talent was appreciated in 2011 when she received a scholarship from the Spanish Queen Sofia to study in the International Institute of Chamber Music in Madrid with such outstanding professors as Ralf Gothoni and Eldar Nebolsin. To achieve solist diploma Hanna Asieieva has continued her education with professors Elina Vahala and Liza Fertschman at Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe, Germany since 2014.
