Hannah Sabio-Howell
Hannah Sabio-Howell is a politician and activist in the state of Washington. She is currently running to represent Seattle as a Democrat in a Washington State Senate seat.[1][2] The 43rd Legislative district seat represents the neighborhoods of Capitol hill, Laurelhurst, Eastlake, Montlake, University District, Freemont, and Belltown.[3]

In the 2026 Washington State senate election, Sabio-Howell positions herself to the left of established candidate Jamie Pedersen, saying “This race, ultimately, to me, is the difference between leadership that attempts to appease corporate interests and a new generation of leadership that won’t,” [4]
Sabio-Howell is an advocate of affordability, cycling, medium-density housing, housing abundance, living wages, progressive tax policy, rent caps, labor rights, and universal child care.[4]
