Happy L-Lord AB, also called Happy Land Lord AB, is a Swedish video game publisher headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden. The company is currently working on Adventure Box.
History
The company was founded by Swedish entrepreneur Christopher Kingdon and Irish mathematician and programmer Cléo Hayes-McCoy (formerly Robert O’Leary).[1] They decided to create a platform that would allow gamers across the world to easily create and share their own games. This resulted in Adventure Box, which is a browser based - does not require any download & installation - multiplayer game making, sharing and playing platform.
Investors
Since May 2014, Happy L-Lord AB has been funded with over 2 MEUR[2] from heavyweights of the Swedish gaming industry. Some names that stand out are Happy L-Lord Board Directors and investors Viktor Vallin and Lorang Andreassen. Viktor Vallin started his investment career in EA-owned gaming company Dice. Today he is one of the top ten owners of the game company Starbreeze. Online gaming veteran Lorang Andreassen, was previously a main owner of the online casino gaming company Cherry.[3] Investor Eva Redhe, is a well known member of Swedish industry. She is a member of the Starbreeze board and former CEO of Erik Penser Fund Commissions.[2]

Adventure Box
Adventure Box is a browser based 3D game platform where anyone can play, make and share games with friends or the world. Adventure Box is based on 3D-Voxel technology. The game uses IBM cloud computing as its cloud platform.[1]
