Harish Kumar is an Indian film director and producer in Bollywood.[1] He directed his first movie Gufy: Dil Ka Sukoon (2013) followed by Muzaffarnagar the burning love (Released 2017) which is quite controversial and staring Dev Sharma,Aishwarya Devan,Mursaleem Qureshi and song sung by Mohit chahuan.He also produced the very successful Marathi movie Pakada Pakadi (2011) staring Ashok Saraf, Tejaswini Pandit,Vijay Chavan .[2]

He started his career as art director and worked on Journey Bombay to goa (2007),Desire a journey of a women (2010-11), Cutting chai (2015) and Do Aur Do Panch (2011) staring Arbaaz Khan but unfortunately it is not released.[3]

He is known for making independent films. He also worked as a creative director for many ad films and music videos.

Harish Kumar was born in Hindu - Pujari family in Mangalore and completed his B. Com. from Pompei College, Mangalore, Karnataka. He moved to mumbai in the 90's and started his early career as a set designer under well-known art director R. Verman whose son is Abhishek Verman. In early 90's he worked in movies such has Bazigaar,Koyla and may more.He is a fine artist in graphic designing.
