Harry Psutka

Harry Adolph Psutka was a minor league baseball catcher in the Detroit Tigers chain. He debuted in 1949, hitting .319 and slugging .473 for the Jamestown Falcons. In 1950, he was with the Durham Bulls and Flint Arrows. The next year, he hit .243 and slugged .322 for the Williamsport Tigers. He ended his career in 1952, making appearances for both Williamsport and the Davenport Tigers. In 320 minor league games, he hit .252.[1] He was born November 19, 1928 in Kitchener, Ontario and died July 25, 2014 in Kitchener.[2] He was 6' 0" and weighed 185 pounds.

He played professional hockey for the Pittsburgh Hornets of the American Hockey League in 1948 and 1949.[3] He won the 1947 Memorial Cup while with the Toronto St. Michael's Majors in 1947.[4]

His middle name was once listed as "Jerome."
