Harsha CM Gowda[1] born on 05 July 1986 is an Indian Television and Film Actor, who mainly works in the Kannada cinema and television industry. He is instantly known for his role as "Datta" in superhit Kannada serial "BrahmaGantu[2][3]" [4] aired on Zee Kannada.
He won the Best Supporting Actor Award in 2018 from the Zee Kutumba Awards for his performance as "Datta" in a popular Kannada serial BrahmaGantu.[2][4] He also played a prominent role in the Kannada movie "Mathukathe" directed by Gaali Lucky released in 2016.[5]
Early life
Harsha CM Gowda was born and brought up in Channarayapatna, Hassan District, Karnataka, India. His father, Manjunath BS, was a Government Employee who worked in Sericulture Department and his mother, Mamatha PB, is a Government employee. Harsha did his Para-Medical course from Rajee[1]v Institute of Paramedical Science. Harsha developed a keen interest in acting during his college days and started performing with various roles in Kannada movies and serials. He pursued his acting degree in Srinidhi Institute, Bangalore. He married Manasa on 20 May 2016 and has a daughter by name Krisha H Gowda.
Career
Harsha started his career with Amma Ningagi serial aired on ETV Kannada in 2015. He debuted alongside Actress "Rachana Dashrath[6]" in 2016 with the movie "Mathukathe’’ directed by Gali Lucky and played the role of Chandru as a son of "Manjunath Hegde". Harsha rose to fame by 2017 from "BrahmaGantu",[4] Kannada daily serial which airs on Zee Kannada. He is currently filming a project titled "Production #2’’, directed by Vikram Yoganand, starring actress Aditi Rao.
Upcoming projects
He is currently shooting for Olledalappo Album Song which is being directed and produced by Vikram Yoganand along with Kannada actress "Jayashree Ramaiah" which will be released soon. He is also acting in the movie Production #2.
