Haus.me is a tech manufacturing company located in Reno (Nevada, USA).[1] It produces autonomous self-sustainable smart manufactured and modular homes.[2][3]
History[edit]
Haus.me was founded in March 2016 by Ukrainian entrepreneur Max Gerbut and Julia Gerbut.[4][5][6]
The first name of the company was PassivDom Corp. In 2019 the name was changed after rebranding to haus.me.[7][8]
Overview[edit]
Haus.me promotes what it describes as a fully self-sustainable mobile residential unit with Passive House certification.[9] The 3D-printing process of the house frame takes less than 8 hours.[10][11] The house is equipped with an air recuperation system, heat pump for heating and cooling, air quality system, the photovoltaic off-grid system, water filtration system, heat energy storage, bioactive sewage system and water tank.[12][13][14] Units can be combined to create a larger building.[15]
They can be placed on any solid, level ground surface without a foundation. The 3D-composite polymer frames are resistant to hurricanes and earthquakes.[16]
Solar panels on the roofs allow houses to withstand both tropic and arctic conditions autonomously.[17][18]
The company provides 2 main models:
