Hazem Mounir حازم منير
Hazem Mounir is an Egyptian journalist, writer, and prominent dissident who has published articles in multiple Egyptian and international media organizations.[1][2][3]
His professional career[edit]
Hazem Mounir was a journalist who was not only interested in human rights work, but he was also a member of the National National Council for Human Rights, and he was one of those who closely observed Egyptian elections as a director of the election’s unit at the National Council for Human Rights during constitutional merits, particularly the Egyptian presidential elections, which he followed as director of the operations room to track the Egyptian presidential elections. Hazem Mounir made several contributions to the victory of human rights in Egypt and the defense of the right to the motherland against the institutions that began the attack on Egypt, using evidence and proof in his works.
Mounir is regarded as one of the pioneering human rights writers who focused their work on concerns that have long afflicted the country. He was one of Egypt's first public speakers who were concerned about human rights. He was also the Director of the National Institution for Human Rights and Training
His Death[edit]
Hazem Mounir, the head of the Egyptian Foundation for Training and Human Rights, died on Sunday, April 18, 2021, after a battle with the new Coronavirus (Covid-19), which kept him in intensive care for about 17 days.
Hazem Mounir, a journalist, and writer was a member of the National Council for Human Rights and a prominent human rights advocate. He published numerous articles in Al-Watan and other Egyptian and Arab newspapers.[4][5][6]
