Amal Farah is an Egyptian writer and one of Egypt's most influential children's writers. She received many awards and honors for her work in the field of children's writing, including the UNESCO International Prize for Tolerance in Children's Books for the book "Have bluff" in 2002. The International "Epi" award for distinguished children's books in the field of disability for the book "The Fund" in 2004, and the Suzanne Mubarak Award The first in children's literature twice. She is also a publisher, an educational expert who writes and supervises the editing of the publications of Dar "Shajara"[1] for publishing children's books (the name was changed to Dar "Ashjar"), which she founded with her husband, plastic artist Magdy El Kafrawy in 2014. Before that, she held the position of Deputy Director Editing of Mickey magazine in its Egyptian edition issued by Nahdet Misr and chief editor of all Disney magazines in Egypt, published by the same company.

Amal worked in journalism, children's journalism, writing for puppet theater and songs for children, and participated in works such as the Bakkar series, whose songs were written through six seasons of the series and the songs of the Sesame World series in the 2000 season.
