Head Gear Films is a financier and executive producer of films, television series, and video games located in London, UK. The company was founded in 2002 by oil-industry entrepreneur Compton Ross and Phil Hunt, a British producer and entrepreneur.[1][2]
In 2007, Hunt helped found Head Gear's sister company, international film sales agent Bankside Films.[3] Hunt also set up independent UK distributor Bohemia Media and UK home entertainment & digital distributor (Yet) Another Distribution Company in 2020, as well as New Zealand-based genre label (Yet) Another Monster Company in 2023.[4][5]
In 2023, Head Gear announced their formal partnership with asset management firm Allianz Global Investors.[6]
