Joshua Lewis McCammon (born 07 July 1999) is an English–Guyanese professional footballer who plays for Peterborough Sports as a midfielder.

Club career[edit]

Josh McCammon’s youth career started at Norwich City, where he was part of the U12 squad until 2010.[2] During his spell at Norwich City, McCammon played a number of matches including the Foyle Cup where he scored in the last 8 minutes pushing the Derry’s out of the cup. [3] McCammon's youth career continued when he joined Northampton Town Academy in 2014.[4] McCammon was in the youth team until 2017 during this time he took part in first team friendlies one against Nuneaton in 2016 at the age of 17. [5]

In the 2017–18 preseason, McCammon joined Peterborough Sports in the Division One Central of the Southern League. Josh has been a part of 2 Peterborough Sports league promotions in the past 5 years. McCammon was the top goal scorer for Peterborough Sports during the 2021–22 season. During the 2022–23 season at Peterborough, McCammon made a total of 45 appearances and scored 5 goals. [1] One goal was a penalty against Chester F.C. and was quoted as ‘the best win in club history’ by past owner Grant Biddle.[6] Josh McCammon signed a one-year extension with Peterborough Sports for the 2023–24 season.[7]
