Ideology

Basic ideology of Sath is “Sarbat da Bhala” and building “Collective Leadership”. Sath takes inspiration from the Guru Nanak Dev ji’s principles. In today’s political scenario, where Right Wing politics are taking control over the country, it is Guru Nanak ji’s principles only which can truly serve the society. Fascist government is using its money and muscle power to crush the rising voices of different religions and minorities.Indian government has become not less than the Nazi regime. During such circumstances, it is the Youth which can bring change in the autocratic rule of the majority. Therefore, Sath strives to build a “Collective Leadership” among students so that they can lead the society towards better rule and fight for the rights of people.

Sath was the first organisation to create awareness about the destruction of Mattewara Forest near Satluj river due to the construction of Textile industry on the banks of Satluj river. It would have not only destructed the forest, but it would have Polluted the Satluj river too.[5]
