Heidi Lavon (born 22 May 1987) is an American social media personality, tattoo model, video blogger and actress..[2][3][4] She is mostly known for her videos on social media platforms, inckuding TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and OnlyFans. As of November 2022, Heidi had about 10.0 million followers on TikTok[5], 1.9 million followers on Instagram[6], and 693,000 followers on her Facebook page[7]
Heidi often works along with her fiancé, James Ramsey, in producing videos that help and inspire people with physical disabilities.
Biography[edit]
Heidi was born in Casa Grande, Arizona on May 22, 1987. Her parents are Robert and Caprice Lavon; her father is a businessman, her mother is a homemaker. She has three sisters.[1]
Heidi spent most of her youth in Fairbanks, Alaska, before returning to Arizona after she graduated High School. She is currently attending college in Oregon. Heidi currently lives and works in Portland, Oregon[1]
Heidi is engaged to a retired Army veteran, James Ramsey, who is a photographer and a tattoo model.[8]
Modeling and Social Media[edit]
Heidi completed cosmetology school and started her career as a barber & licensed hairstylist in Portland for more than fifteen years.
She took early interest in tattoo modelling. Her first tattoo gained the interest of photographers, subsequently leading to a modeling career.[9]
Eventually, Heidi covered approximately 65% of her body with tattoos,[10] and often posted her pictures on TikTok and Instagram. She also creates videos featuring her pet parrot.[11] [12] Heidi also dabbles in cosplay; portraying characters such as Woody from Toy Story,[13] and DC Comics' Catwoman, Marvel's Black Widow,[14] Kitana from Mortal Kombat,[15] and Velma from Scooby-Doo.[16] Her cosplays of the nurse and Pyramid Head characters from the horror video game Silent Hill in October 2022 went viral.[17]
Heidi often appears in social magazines and entertainment media outlets, such as in FHM Australia, [18] People (magazine)[3] and American Songwriter,[2] among others. She appeared on a Karat billboard in Times Square, New York in October 2022.[17]
On November 6, 2022, Heidi Lavon posted a video of her two female friends spontaneously getting married with the assistance of the American rapper Post Malone. The video has become socially viral gaining attention of many media outlets.[2][3][4]
Social impact for people with disabilities[edit]
Heidi actively collaborates with her fiancé James in creating social media content. James is an army veteran and an amputee, who lost his right leg in a motorcycle accident. After recovering from the physical and psychological effects of the accident, James began posting on the social media platforms to raise awareness and help people with physical challenges.[8] James and Heidi can be often seen in social media engaging in different sports and physical activities using social media to motivate and encourage people who are physically challenged and need support for their physical and mental fitness.[19] Heidi and James together created a podcast called The Exposure Therapy Podcast.[20]

In addition to modeling and social media career, Heidi is also a contributing writer for Skin Art Magazine. As an actress, she has appeared in television shows such as IFC's comedy series, Portlandia, TLC's Say Yes to the Dress, and the animated series, Beavis and Butt-Head.
