Helena Maria Carneiro Leão (born in Recife) is a Brazilian doctor. Federal Councilor for the state of Pernambuco She graduated from the Federal University of Pernambuco in 1982.[1] She is a rheumatologist and occupational physician.[2][2][2] He holds a master's degree in Forensic Expertise from the State University of Pernambuco and a specialization in Bioethics from the University of Porto.[3] She was president (2011-2013), vice-president, 2nd secretary, treasurer and internal affairs officer of Cremepe. He presided over the regional section of the Brazilian Society of Bioethics and composed, in the CFM, a commission of president of the Medical Association of Pernambuco and regional vice president of the Association of Forensic Medicine and Medical Expertise.[4] He is a member of the ethics committee of the Brazilian Medical Association.[4][4]
Master in Forensic Expertise at UPE and PhD student in Bioethics at the University of Porto.[4] He has experience in the field of clinical and expert medicine, with an emphasis and specialization in Rheumatology, Occupational Medicine and Pain Treatment.[5] She is currently an expert and head of the Medical Board of the State of Pernambuco, Counselor of the Regional Council of Medicine of Pernambuco (CREMEPE) and President of the Medical Association of Pernambuco (AMPE).[5] She was President of CREMEPE, Director of the Higher Medical School of CREMEPE and member of the State Commission of the Code of Medical Ethics.[5][5]
