Hemachandra Wijeratne (also known as Lofty Wijeratne and Hema Wijeratne) was the Consul General for Republic of Turkey for Sri Lanka and was a businessman / Company Director. [1] [2] [3]
Early life and education[edit]
Hema was educated at Nalanda College Colombo. [4][5] Hemachandra was also a former Chairman of the Colombo Tea Traders Association and a Chartered Insurer.[6][7]
Hemachandra Wijeratne is the younger brother of Hon. Ranjan Wijeratne.[8]
