Henri Firmin Hubert (born September 25, 1958) is a French model, stage director, runway choreographer and creative director living in Vietnam.
Life and career[edit]
1965 - 1978: Childhood and football career[edit]
Henri Hubert was born in French Guiana, South America. He moved to live and study in Paris, France at the age of 10. In 1965, Henri Hubert was recruited to France national football team, but had to give up his career due to an injury in 1978.
1972 - 1983: Fashion career[edit]
Henri Hubert started modelling in 1972.[1]. By 1983, he had begun to achieve great success. He appeared in major fashion magazines such as Vogue, Cosmopolitan,... and collaborated with many brands such as Balmain, S. T. Dupont, Paco Rabanne, Hechter, Pal Zileri, Yohji Yamamoto, Comme des Garcons, Christian Dior,...
In 1985, Henri Hubert took a course on creativity at the Institut Français de la Mode.
1987 - present: Creative career[edit]
In 1987, he became a creative director, director, choreographer and operated in many countries: France, Italy, Spain, Japan, Belgium, Netherlands, USA, UK... He directed for many fashion shows by Pal Zileri, Paco Rabanne, Anny Blatt, Puma, Adidas, Levi's, Mondial de la Coiffure, L'Oréal Ethnic, L'Ovite, Salvatore Ferragamo, Milano, Marc Jacobs, Burberry, Pierre Cardin, On Aura Tout Vu Haute Couture, BMW, Porsche,...
During 2000-2002, Henri Hubert came to Vietnam[2]. He participated in many activities and events, and founded B.H Studio[3] which specialized in fashion and model training in Vietnam. The company later developed into Creative Group[1].
He is most known for his role as the coach of Elite Model Look Vietnam, the judge of Miss Ao Dai Vietnam 2016, catwalk director for The Face Vietnam, Vietnam Supermodel 2018, advisor for Minh Tu at Miss Supranational 2018.
In 2016, he expanded the scope of Creative Group's activities, changed the name to Le Nom Visual Communication Agency, offering solutions in visual communication, including services in photography, video production, branding and event organizing. Le Nom has implemented projects with clients who are esteemed in the fields of hospitality, real estates, fashion... Le Nom has become a trusted name by brands that want to professionally attach themselves with a high-class, European image.
Activism and charity[edit]
Run for the Heart[edit]
Henri Hubert and Le Nom were the main sponsors of “Running for the Heart 2017” organized by Gamuda Land Joint Stock Company and Heartbeat Vietnam[4].
As a Frenchman who has been in Vietnam for a long time, I understand well the spirit of the Vietnamese people's 'good leaves protect the torn leaves', and that spirit makes me even more respect when we have the opportunity to contribute a small part. children in the program "Run for the heart 2017"[5].
Global Wellness Day[edit]
In 2018, Henri Hubert became the Ambassador of Global Wellness Day in Vietnam[6][7]. He organizes Wellness Dinner to encourage safe food choices and spending time with loved ones[8][9][10].
In 2021, he organized a series of Wellness Workshops at universities to reach students in Ho Chi Minh City[11]
