High Point Place is a high-rise condominium located in Fort Myers, Florida. It was constructed in 2007 and is the tallest building in Fort Myers, south of Tampa, and west of Miami in general.[2]
History
Groundbreaking took place in 2005. The Carlyle Group oversaw the construction and design of the building along with Cameratta Properties.[2] It was completed in 2007 with 33 stories.[3] With a distinct height, it stands at 367 feet (112 m).[4] It is located in downtown Fort Myers along the coast of the Caloosahatchee River. The condominium units have sold for millions of dollars, causing some complaints as well as regarding the HOA fees.[5]
