"History" is a second single by Olivia Holt released on November 21, 2016 through Hollywood Records & Armada Music from her debut EP Olivia. The song was written by Evan Bogart, Ailin Caroline, Andrew Goldstein, Emanuel Kiriakou.[1]
Background[edit]
On July 15, 2016 Holt released her debut EP Olivia. History was included on the track listing of the EP. On November 17, 2016 Holt announced that the music video for History would be released on November 21, 2016.[2] Holt then continued to post teasers of the video until the release of the music video.
Music video[edit]
The music video for History was released on November 21, 2016. The video starts with Holt being asked on a date to which she guiltily says yes to. Holt described the video as being in a new relationship but realizing it's not as good as the relationship with her past lover was. The music video currently withholds 1.2 Million views on YouTube as of December 22, 2016
