Hobbart & Hobbart
Hobbart & Hobbart (est. 1998) is a Norwegian talent agency based in Oslo and London.
The company was founded and is currently managed by Martin Braathen. He has a long professional career in the film producing industry.[citation needed] The company's trade lies now within the art industry in general, and in specific at being an agent, a negotiator and a legal consultant for actors. Hobbart & Hobbart negotiate contracts, and secure legal rights. They do tax planning, press filtering, merchandising, crisis guidance and professional personal management.
The company represent a wide range of Norwegian filmactors/-actresses: Aksel Hennie, Ane Dahl Torp, Anders Danielsen Lie, Anneke von der Lippe, Christian Rubeck, Emil Johnsen, Gitte Witt, Jan Erik Madsen, Kathrine Fagerland, Kjersti Holmen, Kyrre Haugen Sydness, Lars Arentz-Hansen, Mads Ousdal, Marian Saastad Ottesen, Mikkel Gaup, Morten Faldaas, Nicolai Cleve Broch, Petronella Barker, Pia Tjelta, Stig Henrik Hoff, and Trond Espen Seim.[citation needed]
Hobbart & Hobbart is also part of a collaboration between Scandinavia's major talent agencies; Actors Agency of Sweden in Sweden and Team Players in Denmark. Through this network the actors get promoted in Scandinavia and abroad.
Furthermore, Hobbart & Hobbart do extended legal consultations for directors and the producers of film and television, especially based upon the unique professional background.
